Hi James, You are obviously a newcomer to the Cub world. I'll try and answer your questions as best I can, in the order you asked them.
1. Yes, just
2. For that distance don't use any oil whatsoever
3. You should be able to get some mountain bike tyres on the rim, Best place for these is either the local tip. Alternatively nick some
4. Best gear I find is platform shoes, flares and a teardrop shirt, tie dyed
5. Nick the petrol from your mates TDM, he'll never know
6. Never, because there will be none in it to start with
7. As often as you can nick another set.
