If it is for general degreasing/cleaning get hold of some TFR ( traffic film remover ) You can use it neat, but it's a bit of a waste like that. Dilute it to 10 parts water to 1 part TFR. Spray it on with one of them 1ltr spray bottles and on the more soiled parts use an old paint brush to work it in etc. I normally spray the complete bike with it, let it soak in for 5 mins or so then spray it again using the brush this time then hose or power wash it off. Cost of 5lts should be around the £6-£8 mark, depending on where you live. For degreasing smaller items I use car refinish 'Panel wipe'. It get rid of any grease or oil completley and is not agressive at all so will not damage paint etc. If you want to get your chain clean for instance, use panel wipe. Just remember to oil it well afterwards .
