Road Tax Exemption Being Extended to Pre January 1st 1974 ie FREE ROAD TAX

According to Classic Bike Free road tax is being extented to pre '74 bikes from April 2014,up from pre '73 as at present.Thats from the date of first registration.I know it's not a great saving for a 90-125 I know,but as Tesco say- every litte helps.You have to apply to the DVLA for Historical class before they give it to you.They don't do it automatically.
