Providing you look after it there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't get at least 40,000 miles from your C90. The main thing to avoid is serious rust under the rear mudguard by the suspension mounting points. This is very common and accounts for the eventual death of most c90s. Never allow the oil level to fall below minimum and change it every 1000 miles at least. Then, apart from routine replacements, it should more or less last for ever.
