Well spotted Dave i have R4 on in the wagon a fair bit, but seem to have missed this. My accent is quite broad but there is people i know who are a lot broader than me. It was right about the pubs though like Ma pardos, we have many that still maintain the old style and many still brew their own, less than 1/2 a mile from me is The Park inn which is home to the Holdens brewery. Sadly most heavy industry has gone now, which is not unique to us, but can be said for much of the country 
. Oh and by the way our Gerts owd mon was a foundry mon and they were give a chit everyday for eight pints in order to rehydrate
