Boo you can cross from the English channel to the Atlantic in a few hours down here and with no mountains to climb and with good roads with no snow and good Motorways However to get a meeting of more than three would be pretty impossible .
People don't join clubs or socialise that much down south.In the last year in my area three pubs two social clubs and the Legion have all closed due to lack of Members.
The motorcycle clubs in the area are a rump of a few people mostly old who usually arrive by car.
I am chair of the Horticultural society which used to have 1500 members now we struggle to get 400 and they are largely the old who have been members for years.Its a struggle to get any to even get out and vote there is a council election next Thursday and the money is on less than 20% voting in fact that many will be seen as a triumph.
