Hi Shay,
Afraid I have to disagree with you there.
I have had my Lidl flip face helmet for around a year now. It's still comfortable, the flip still works, it is used daily, and being £40 in the first place, I really can't complain. The only aspect that remains unknown, is the performance during an ultimate and final "road test". I only hope that I don't end up testing that.
It is worth noting, I only wear it on the C90 and not generally on the bigger bikes. I prefer a full face, non-flip for both wind noise and chin protection at higher speeds.
The only thing I dislike is the chin clip has a plastic ratchet component, where I would have liked to see it made of steel.
Just my tuppence worth...
