cheers for that bogger, that tree bimble was a fantastic few days of bimbling round the scottish lanes and old mountain passes, fuzz saved that one for me on the mildhogs site.
trees play a part of my life now, funny how when you get older things that you never saw as a young un you start to notice as you get older [ and dafter ].i,ve over 800 seeds now from cones i,ve picked up from days out with the mrs on our nat trust/eng heritage visits around the country, some of them are from very rare trees, there in pots now , freezing their tits off in the garden.
you might hear from me in the summer, might stick the cub in the van and have a tree bimble round the lincoln area, would,nt mind a visit to the bowthorpe oak, its one of the biggest oaks in the country, the farmer whose land its on is real cool guy, drop a shilling in his collection tin and your free to view his tree, also there,s a massive cedar of lebanon at gunby hall near splisby i would,nt mind seeing. we,ll see what happens when the long summer days get here.
