carb problems

Inappropriate or SPAM?

c90 12volt cub

engine is reving its nuts off for a few seconds while on idle then the engine dies unless you turn the throttle and then engine races again, the throttle cable is free and choke mech is working fine so nothing is sticking..petrol is flowing through.
any suggestions?
