RB32 (John) Sold his bike.
I’m sure that most of the NW lads & Vic will remember John. I rang him yesterday & he said that he’d sold his bike. Although you wouldn’t think so from his postings, his fitness, sharpness & general attitude, but he’s getting on in years & he reaches the big 8 zero next year.
He has had many big bikes over the years but never took his test & went back to biking a few years ago after giving up (yes) parachuting. Consequently he was always on “L” plates. He has been the victim of a couple of “Crash for Cash” cases with his car, although one was not proved it has put his insurance costs up & this together with the costs of renewing his provisional bike licence has led to his decision.
Fortunately he has manage to insure his car & still has his 2 seater 2CV sports car which he built himself & may put it on the road for the summer lets hope that the insurance is not too dear.
