C50LA is the automatic gearbox moped model of C50.
'C' is the shape/model of Cub - The first 12 volt models which had round lamps and metal rear mudguard made 1982-84. (there were also 3-speed semi-auto C50C, C70C and C90C at the same time as the C50LAC)
It was replaced by the C50LAE with square lamps and plastic rear end in 1984 (same shape as C50E, C70E and C90E).
That was replaced by the C50LAG in 1986 (only a few detail changes from LAE)
Try putting C50LA in searches as well as C50LAC.
