For any of you following my blog.
Had a bit of interesting news yesterday.
My friend Simon ( No not that one ) who moved to Bulgaria last April, went with his estate agent to the local Council office to pay his YEARLY rates for his house.
There was some confusion when he got there, & his agent mentioned that there was a problem with the amount that the council were requesting.
Simon had been told when he 1st bought the house ( off ebay ! ) that the YEARLY amount was £9, for the WHOLE year!!!!
However, it had now been re assessed & the fee was £4
They did explain that this could be paid in instalments, Simon laughed , but they were DEADLY serious.....
He paid the £4.
Also a months water charge was £1.12
