Managed another Portland run today with Cub T, weather forecast looked ok but....whilst up on the windy Isle,the sky turned black,the wind blew,we took shelter in the chip shop as it started SNOWING

.Being southern softies we hid in the chip shop eating (and paid for) chips until it blew over.We ventured out and up,the snow settled on the road for a short while but the wind was mental

.Well we headed for home and as you leave Portland(which is nearly an Island) with only one road in/out,the sea is close by on both sides of the road,the rain hit us hard and the wind was trying to push us into the oncoming lane and traffic,we were both hanging off the bike to the left just to stay in our lane! It was almost brown stain in the pants time(but not quite!) Did not really do pictures it was too friggin cold... PS T,I'm thinking of doing that other meet in Wales,could be a fun trip up...[img]
