Dumb question time

Greetings all...

My service manual seems to be coming via the south pole which is driving me nuts! Want to get going while the weather is still nice.

Just looking to get the spark plug removed so I can see a number so that I can order a new one. With limited tools it was not a fantastic success & I didn't want to force it to much! Thought I would tap into some info from the group please...

Looking on Ebay to get a spark plug wrench, what size should I be going for? 14mm I assume?

Anti-clockwise to get it out? Assuming the right tool will make this easier cause the little bugger felt like it was glued in.

What model spark plug should I be ordering? I can't read much off the plug other than it is an NGK.

Finally, does it make any difference (other than cost) about which octane petrol to use?

It is a 1985 C90 cub.
Thanks
~Craig~
