I have always hated these captcha's. The ones used on this site are not too bad but on some sites they use captchas that are so badly mangled you can only guess what a letter might be. Some are case sensitive and some are not but you are rarely told when they are. On the forum I manage I use simple security questions, capital cities, easy sums etc.
