Well just been into Halfords

and their reference book specifies Mobil 1 5w-30w "ecs". They don't have it in five litre cans only in one litre bottles. Its £17.99 per litre.

The ecs bit as I understand it makes it compatible with high efficiency oil filters and catalysts. I.ll see if I can get it cheaper if not then the semi' is going in. Thanks for the replies.
