Lifan into Cub again

Right chaps, the secondhand engine I bought isn't that pretty, and the bit of the casting that holds the electric foot motor on has broken in transit. As I didn't check it when it arrived, this is now on me. The fins on the bottom of the head have rusted away too. That's what happens when you're a lazy-arsed fecker. There is a lesson to be learned here, I'm sure, though I doubtless won't actually learn it!

As I've now found a sympathetic insurer (thanks to young Newt), getting a quote should be possible, so I've decided the 110 is going in. It's just too nice and shiny not to go in.

This involves the clutch cover swap- just what exactly do I need to do here? Honda cover - check. What else do I need? I presume it's the original Cub parts I need to use - the triangle 'thingy' with the three balls, and the little spring? Is that it? Which way round do they go (dumb question I know, but they fell out of a cover I had carefully placed to one side with them in-situ as I picked it up...). Doh!

Let me know so I can get at it by tomorrow! ;D Spent a few hours tidying the garage enough so I can work in it! Going to go and take the old engine out now...

On the plus side, I now have enough spares from the various POS engines I have to make one whole good one! That's for another day though, and for now, getting the bike back on the road again is the key!
