I was going to suggest anyone coming to rainy Wales for the Rhayader weekends to consider bringing there own beer. Since minimum pricing became the policy in Wales, beer , cider etc has more than doubled. Even tramp juice ( white cider - bcp,s description 
) has gone from £1.99 a bottle to £5 at our local lidl 
but how much can someone safely carry?
This reminded me of our trip(me,bogger,cecil and bcp) to Spain during the French fuel strike where we each carried 40/45 litres of petrol on the 90,s. 
. so 40/lts should be ok 
Worth a mention; while we were in southern France we met a British traveler returning north who was rather concerned about getting home . He asked us had we seen anywhere local selling fuel cans so he could get xtra should he find any petrol. bcp promptly reached into his rather large bag he had strapped to the jialing and pulled out a 20l steel jerry can, "there you go mate" said Pete. You should have see the look of surprise on his face.
