Inappropriate or SPAM?

Has anyone experience of these padlock alarms you can get on Ebay for about a tenner. If they are any good one of them would have stopped my C90 being nicked by low life thieving scum. If no-one has tried them I will let you all know if it is any good because I already ordered one.
