It must be free food week. I had a breakdown last weekend near Winchester and called the RAC. Orange van man turned up and arranged recovery. Bad traffic accident clogged all the roads and recovery truck took hours to reach me. RAC kept phoning to check I was ok, which I was, and then told me because I had to wait longer than expected they would give me ten quid for a meal. I yomped three bacon sarnies and a oaty flapjack courtesy of the RAC. I have yet to claim the ten quid so I hope they pay up.
