hi, that cat food stove or "super cat " stove as its called is fabulous.
at the taffy Dakar this year both my coleman and my campingaz stove packed up the same time

. at 5.30 am it must have been -4 , freezing cold and no way of making tea . lucky for me both jj and bcp are early risers too.
so I decided to find a super simple stove and spotted these super cat one. the web site called "zen stoves" has all the details and even a template for the holes.
I took one along on our spain trip and it exceeded my expectations. I,d bought a lightweight ss 500ml mug of ebay (322180377124) which I,d 3/4 fill with water pop in 2 eggs and place on the lit stove. wrap it with the short wind shields off ebay and nip to the toilet block for a wee and a wash. on my return the eggs were done, flame had gone out , so just pop a tea bag in , stir , remove eggs, brekkie time .

. the stove takes 50ml of fuel and it burns for 12/13 mins , the water would boil in 6mins and keep boiling long enough for the eggs . perfect.

I just wont leave home without one now
