Well I went to Rhayader not that anyone would have noticed as I arrived (about 9.15pm) when everyone had buggered off to the pub on Friday evening. I was attacked by a swarm of midges as I was putting up my tent, which was annoying as its was getting dark and I was having trouble deciding which tent poles went where. Having very little sleep just listening to the rain during the night and realising that I didn't bring any waterproofs I decided I wasn't too keen on a days riding in the rain, so I packed up early next morning without speaking to anyone apart from JohnS who was an early bird out eating his porridge.
