I've not too much experience with 6v as I've only had about 4 of them; OK I did seize all 4, one rather spectacularly at my first Rhayader visit. Still rode it home though.

Look at 2:24 onwards - that's me heading home....

Actually I've seized many a 12v too so probably not the best person to ask (or buy a bike from)
