At least you know your original engine is properly sorted now Jam where as a second hand unit could conceal a multitude of sin.
I've done plenty of road trips on the Cub but only stayed relatively local on the Innova, reason being that I have better luggage capacity on the Cub but that could of course be rectified.
Let us know what you decide and how the trip goes.
