By the way John, I have a Oxford 'Oximiser' fixed to my garage wall with a plug-in lead to the battery. This is to maximise the battery life plus (hopefully) no buggering about at engine start! On one service I tried to 'dis-arm' the front brake gubbins that make's one hold in the front brake to start. I could not this modification get to work so its still 'brake on' to start.....
