1995 C90 top speed?

Hey guys I recently got myself a 1995 Honda C90 Economy as my first on road bike so not 100% on what I should expect from it.
I understand they arn't the fastest machines but is 45 downhill, pinned in 3rd gear normal? 40 on a flat.. Engine is sweet as a nut but I'm sure it should have a little more to give? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
