Yes but have you seen the state of it?

Points replaced with a magneto, frame held together with pop rivets.

If you treat engines gently then they will last a very long time indeed, keeping the oil clean and not too hot (but hot enough to get rid of any water), used regularly and not left standing etc etc.

Stationary engines are really understressed, even the high speed (3600 rpm) Honda generator motors will last for huge amounts of hours, BUT 9hp takes about 230cc rather than your C90's 85cc.

Diesel Stationary motors will outlast and motorcycle frame/gearbox etc etc, Sluggy the diesel Enfield has over 140,000 miles on the motor: That's about 9hp too but from 400cc but returns 180-200mpg.

Clutches, engine plates, gearbox bearings, wheels have all fallen by the wayside.
