hi ric, you probably know but spare bulb kit is required by law in france. a few things i,m taking you,ve not mentioned are, spare stove, flask(as good as an extra stove and with coffee 2 euro,s a cup )chain link/lube,in line pipe connector for fuel line repair, first aid kit ( unless you,d prefer " the snog of life off any of us lot) " sun hat, cold hat, sun cream, blow up doll errr, i mean pillow, chopping board, wet wipes, food bags , foil ,kitchen roll, wok,(instead of my chip pan),camping table, washing up bowl, water butt, music player, gazebo and ?? , all the things you need for 5 star camping. apart from a gas heater that bcp takes.
another thing i was going to mention is food, its a very good idea to take food/drink for the first night and morning. we wont be there until 7.30 , thats when the shops close in guines and depending where we agree to go the first day we might be leaving the site at 8.30/9 , again too early to go shopping. wouldnt be a prob in uk but france has some wierd opening times and its best not to get caught out. i gan point any one to an easy to find supermarket in calais thats open until 9 but wont have time myself as i,m not sure what time reception is open until at site. i,ve emailed them to say eta 7.30pm. ta, nige
