That sort of mileage seems about right to me. I've always sworn by Conti Go in the past and still have them fitted to one bike, the V90. The Cub now has Michelin M45s' on because they were cheap and they seem like a good tyre or you could try the Metzeler ME22, which I have fitted to my CD200. But to be honest I don't think you are going to get more miles per tyre than what you are getting at present. What yo will get though is far more grip both wet and dry.
