Thanks all for your ideas. I've checked wheel bearings, spokes & hub carrier bearing and also checked that everything is tight,but I might try another wheel anyway to definitely eliminate that area. I've got hold of a pair of new swinging arm bushes now,so I think I'll just keep taking the drugs until Friday as Retard of Ripley suggests and then pull it apart at the weekend to put new bushes in.
