First cut cardboard template that covers the rust

Next, transfer shape to nice steel plate found in skip

Next, cut out patch with angle grinder (2.3mm thick steel)

Next, beat the hell out of it, until it roughly follows the profile of the bike

Next cut out remaining rust and clean up

Then weld in place
