Uuuummm. Only really do the minimum that has to be done on my bikes these days. I somehow lost my mojo a while back. I still ride Big Mig daily and we successfully raced Noodle and Poppet last year, I just don’t seem to get as excited about it anymore. I have a set of Big Migs rims out for blasting and powder coat, and I recently split the lighting circuit to run DC to the front pilot and LED rear lights, and AC to the front headlamp via a relay. This means the lights don’t go out when the engine stops, and the LED bulbs work correctly, but the battery isn’t drained by the headlamp. Last year I changed Poppets KMX125 forks for a set of MTX50 items to meet the Nifty Fifty rules, which was a bigger job than it sounds, and resulted in a lot of fabrication, changing the speedometer, headlamp, brake plate, front wheel, front wheel spindle, light brackets and even the handlebars, none of which came from the same model.
Happy Tinkering all.
